With over 30 years in the finance industry, Jerry is the founder of the Atlanta-based BusinessLINC Community Loan Fund, He pioneered a model for providing critical loans and technical assistance to fuel community development in underserved areas.

Jerry was at the cutting edge of the Opportunity Zone movement, having facilitated a $100 million joint venture partnership with a global real estate private firm to launch the Epic/Virtua Opportunity Zone Fund I, LP. This innovative fund was dedicated to investing in transformative projects in Atlanta's Opportunity Zones, with a focus on multifamily, mixed-use, and commercial development. 

 

A proud graduate of Howard University, where he earned his BA in Finance and Economics, Jerry is also a Certified Private Equity Professional from Columbia Business School. His unique blend of academic rigor, professional expertise, and passion for community development make him a powerhouse in the impact investing space.
