Jim currently serves as a developer, partner and senior consultant to several leading real estate developers across the Gulf Coast region. In this capacity he sources and manages development projects, serves as a consulting CFO, leads capital raise campaigns, and brokers mixed-use and multi-family projects. Several of his recent projects along the 30A corridor have established all-time high-water marks for sales and development profits. Jim began his professional career following graduation from Tulane University as an Officer in the United States Army. He served with distinction over multiple foreign tours, including combat experience as leader of an elite Army Recon unit. Jim has remained focused on academic and analytical excellence throughout his career. In 2003, he earned the prestigious designation of Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA®) through The Wharton School and IMCA. He holds several active Financial Licenses including the Series 7 and 65 (also previously Series 9 and Series 10) and is a licensed real estate associate in Florida.

Jon LaPlante moved to the Gulf Coast in 1999 and began his construction management and real estate development career that has spanned over 20 years. During that time he has been a partner and participant in over $300,000,000 in mixed use residential, office and retail developments. The majority focused in upper end resort communities that emphasize quality, endurance and lifestyle enhancement.
In 2013 he promoted “Leadify Places”, a lead generation tool for real estate sales and rental management companies.The custom developed software reaches up to 90 million people through Facebook, Pinterest, Twitter and Tumbler. In 2011-2012, he provided property review and development oversight, construction analysis and marketing consultation for various customers. Working on a mixed-use Florida development, a 5,700 acre Montana resort, 10 acre Costa Rica resort and two 120 unit hotels.

The Embry Family has been involved in real estate, land development, construction, and banking for over seventy years in Atlanta, Georgia. Starting with the three oldest brothers when they returned from WWII. They helped change Atlanta and how new homeowners lived with a focus on providing clients with the highest level of quality in the development industry.
From building one of the first Planned Unit Developments in the Atlanta area, Embry Hills, to owning and investing in community banks. To date, there are second and third generation Embry's moving the brand forward in Atlanta and the Southeast to Alabama, Florida, North Carolina and South Carolina.
Developments have been awarded by or recognized by the Atlanta Regional Commission, Urban Land Institute, and the Greater Atlanta Homebuilders Association.
